What If

Author's Note:
I am trying to make people think after each line

What if you won the lottery
What if you lost your house
What if you got a puppy
What if you lost your cat
What if you got flowers from that special someone
What if you found no one liked you

What if your life was full of color
What if you life was black and white
What if you got a $300 gift card for iTunes
What if your ipod broke
What if you were smart
What if you were dumb
What if you could see anything
What if you were blind
What if you got a ferrari
What if you crashed and died
What if you met Paris Hilton
What if you actually liked her
What if your mom had a new baby
What if your brother died
What if you went to school
What if you were homeless
What if you had friends
What if you lost them
What if you were beautiful
What if you weren't
What if you found your way in life
What if you got lost on that path
What if you went on a trip
What if you got stranded
What if
What if
Stop asking yourself the what if's
And start living any way you want
Are you thinking now?

  1. I like the way you try to make people really think about their lives and what could happen. I think you should write more passages like this and I was also wondering when you are going to finish the incredibly long post on your other blog. I forgot it's name sorry.

  2. That author's note helped by telling us it's to make us think. I thought that your poem was a fun and creative one. You had some small errors but they didn't change a meaning. I really liked it, great job!
