It's the end of July and I wanted to write about what summer's been like.
From beginning to end
It's always a thrill
Running and jumping
There's time to kill
From parks and jump ropes
To texting and biking
From blowing bubbles
To kicking and hiking
Summer is fun
Plus there's no school
Go splash in a puddle
Or dive into a pool
Go vacation in Paris
Rome or France
Heck pour some ice
Down your dad's under-pants
Hang out with your pals
Or whatever you call them
Break dance in a river
And go for a swim
You can eat all you want
All those lemons and limes
There's no better date
Than our warm summertime
