Response to Curse Dark as Gold

I really enjoyed reading A Curse Dark as Gold.  It was a fictional "fairytale" that took many twists and turns.  The characters had completely different personalities and were very interesting.  The book was about a girl whose father just died and her mother died a while ago.  It goes threw all the struggles that they had to face including making a deal with Jack Spinner to get golden thread. The thing I liked the most was that you don't want to put it down after only a few pages like most books.  It relates to times now because of the recession going on.  Other people should read it because it can relate to so many types of people.  Even if you don't normally like fiction, I think that you may like this book.  Finally, the book was intriguing and well written.
