First I want to say that this is not just a list of 101 ways to bug your parents, but a book. This book was a realistic fiction book about a few kids. The thing you need to know, is that they all have nicknames made up by Ace, but I'll get to him later. Sneeze is the main character. He got his nickname the time he sneezed 137 times without stopping once! He is also an inventor. Hiccup is the other, he got his name because whenever he's happy, sad, excited, angry, worried, or any other emotion, he hiccups. The next is Goldie Laux. She got her name because she's a snoop, and Goldie lox snooped on the bears. The next is Pierre. He always talks with a fake French accent and dreams of becoming a world renounce chef. Finally Ace. He's the cool one. He gives all the nicknames.
The story is about how Sneeze has all these ambitions of going to the Invention Convention with Hiccup, which his parents say is OK. Then, they cancel the plans and Sneeze has to go to Summer school. All of his friends bug him about it until they end up there too. Since, it was last minute they all had to take a writing class. Thus, the list was born.
Sneeze started to put together a list of ways to bug his parents since they canceled their plans. Once he decided that this would be his writing project, people started to say that they would pay big money for this. Though he thought that they meant the list not expecting it to have to look good.
This book goes threw all the challenges in life based off a boy who has 12 hour a day working parents, allergies to almost everything, who just broke his best friends nose, dreams of being an inventor, is trying to stay away from a girl, trying to figure our someones last name, and all while trying to make money.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good comedy. It was an easy type of book though, ( I read it in a day), but very interesting. I hope you can enjoy it too!
