Deep

The ocean.  My ocean.  A giant mass of greatness, mine.  I think these words as I step onto the patio in our new house.  It's right on the Pacific, with no neighbors for over a mile.  Peace, serenity, quiet.  It's perfect.  The house is not large, it's only one story and two bedrooms.  Though the location is everything.  I walk into my room.  It's the color of the ocean, dark, deep blue.  I fall back on to my bed.  My eyes close.  I relax for what seems like days, but it wasn't, it was about fifteen minutes.  My mother calls me down for dinner, she baked up fresh fish from the ocean, our ocean.  None of us can talk. We're no mad, but we just want to eat the delicious meal, close our eyes, and picture the rest of our lives.  Together, as a family.
