Wrong from Right

Author's Note:
This poem was inspired by T.I.'s album Paper Trail and I would like comments.

Everyday we hear the news
Of some famous kid in prison
But that's the only part we hear
We never really care to listen

We think just because they're famous
You'd want to be them, yourselves
But I'll tell you they're not perfect
And neither's anybody else

We build them up to be these idols
That nobody can live up to
We think their lives are games
And losing's all they do

We never stop to notice
How much pressure they'd be under
We never take a moment
Just to stop and think or wonder

All we do is assume
Who and what they ought to be
We wish they did all the good
That you may see, in you and me

But, like I said before
Nobody's really perfect
And since they're in the spotlights
They might tend to get nervous

And all these stories in the papers
All the things that blind our eyesight
All the we've ever said, until they can't see
What's wrong from right
