Flowers are blooming
Colors are arising
And grass has grown
up from the ground
Beaches are crowded
Long sleeves? I
doubt it
Searching for sun
now is found
Water is a plenty
Children are a many
Enjoying happiness
under the sun
Umbrellas for shade
And a sweet summer
date
Is just the
beginning of fun
Frozen food is a
must
With sprinkles and
lust
But wait! That's
just the beginning
Swim suits are
pulled out
With flip flops
about
To get ready to go
and go swimming
Three months of
vacation
No time to be
wastin'
For school starts up
back in the fall
No time for the
slopping
So time to get
shopping
We're right down the
street from the mall
Jumping for June
For sure! Seen you
soon
But wait we still
have July
August is here
waiting
Flings are a dating
And no one is
wondering why
Let's get to what we
said
No time like the
present
Come on,
let's do something with it
Build sand-men and
reindeer
Being children all
queer
And reach and push
to our limits
Only one last thing
For joy to bring
Of our marvelous wonder
Is for someone to say
What a great day!
So that we can enjoy our summer
