The One

Author's Note:
This is just a short poem that I wrote inspired by Twilight.

The moment when you meet their eyes
The costumes come off, no more disguise

In an instant your whole world changes
You know this is not one of your phases

A moment more and you decide
You're not gonna let them pass you by

You bump their hand and sparks fly up
You think about all of your luck

There is no more need for gravity
They hold you in reality

Just one more minute, they will see
The kind of future, you could be
