You laugh because I'm different, I laugh because you're the same.

Relaxed

Author's Note:
I was inspired to write this because I was tired and relaxed, I am focusing on voice.

You have a day
When you just came
Home from a long
Day at work same
Old same old
The day is done
Watch TV
Wouldn't that be fun
Just relax
No more work
No more pressure
Or mean boss smirks
You're welcomed home
With opened arms
And one big couch
No more fire alarms
Soft playing music
A big plush pillow
Warm and soft
White as snow
Open fresh air
No factory stench
A large glass of water
Balanced on your yard side fence
The thrill or your cat
You think to yourself
You read a book
On your fireplace shelf
You find some paper
And you begin to draw
In your glass of water
Ice cubes begin to thaw
You slurp what's left
Not missing a drop
You contemplate reading
But then STOP
You open your eyes
Realizing it was just a dream
Though as amazing it may seem
That was reality
