How May I Help You

Author's Note:
This is part I of my Embarrassing Moments that never really happened but they sure are funny series. I am focusing on voice.

You strut right on into a Chanel store in downtown New York while your family is on vacation.  When you get inside a woman walks up to you.  How may I help you she asks me.  I tell her that I am looking for something under a hundred dollars, and guess what she does.  She laughs right in my face and walks off!  Who does that, I scream after her, I'm never coming back here again.  She shouts, whatever, it's not like people like you are keeping us in business. I was so hurt I started to cry. As I did I ran out of the store, in which she continued laugh right at me!   How embarrassing!
