Airless

Author's Note:
This is a poem that's supposed to be descriptive of what it feels like to tumble--i.e. cartwheeling, round-offing, handspringing, back flipping, and so on.

Starting, standing
Waiting, balancing
Stepping, jogging
Running, sprinting
Speeding, accelerating
Jumping, pouncing
Empowering, springing
Lifting, swaying
Diving, rolling
Bending, pulling
Flipping, turning
Pushing, flying
Soaring, gliding
Closing, flooring
Landing, stopping
Ending, standing
