--Confucius

"True poets are only the interpreters of the Gods."

Snow

White plush
Falling from
The barren trees
Right above
Sprinkled on us
Like cold cotton
Summer's soil on earth
Will not be forgotten
It must be freezing
For it to fall down
It falls from New York
To every small town
All over the world
To each little corner
Can bring joy to all
Even the mourners
Snow angels and forts
Are just the start
Throwing snowballs
Is another part
It has always snowed
And forever it will
Put in a freezer
It might spill
Bundling up
Just before you go outside
Snow kings and queens
Wear snow crowns with pride
Do your cartwheels in your boots
And twirl on around
Dig up some grass
Look what you've found
You here many things
Like the plunks of the globs
From the freshly made snowball
Your friend just lobbed
You wake up next morning
All of it's gone
Though while it was here
You sure had fun
