Duct Tape

Author's Note:
I wrote this because I really like duct tape and we're supposed to write about things we like. (I am focusing on voice)

It's normally silver
But can be apricot or blue
It can fix many items
But not injuries from kung fu
Don't stick it on walls
Or desks for that matter
If you have to get it off
You cannot be sadder
You can patch up a hole
Or make a knee pad real quick
Don't lick the back
Or you might get sick
Sticky and strong
Shouldn't be worn as a necklace
Fun to play with
Though don't eat it at breakfast
It makes purses and bags
Jewelry and more
You can buy it at any
Arts and crafts store
Don't tape your mouth shut
Then you can't be a singer
Don't duct tape your eyes
Or your typing fingers
